I’m Lindsey. One random day after graduating college, I decided to move from Iowa to Los Angeles to pursue my dreams of being Lauren from The Hills. My mom and I packed up a U-Haul, I found a sketchy house on Craigslist with a bunch of roommates and within one month of moving to LA, I secured my job in fashion.
After that, I spent over a decade leading teams, managing difficult personalities, making tough decisions, and pushing through pressure I barely had space to process. And I was really good at it. I was truly living the LC life I dreamed of…
But I was also completely disconnected from myself. Burnt out. Stressed. Overextending into the leader I thought I had to be.
It wasn’t sustainable, and it definitely wasn’t who I wanted to be.
So I retired that version of myself. And I rebuilt my entire approach to leadership — learning how to regulate my body, trust my voice, trust my strengths, set boundaries, and lead in a way that didn’t drain the life out of me.
Now those tools are the foundation of how I lead and how I coach. And they’re the same ones I help you bring into your day to day so leadership feels like something you’re actually equipped for, not something that costs you your wellbeing.
I’ve coached and supported dozens of women through this kind of leadership who work at global retailers, major beauty brands, and emerging companies, supporting everyone from individual contributors to SVPs to entrepreneurs.
TLDR: I’ve lived both sides:
The version of leadership that looks impressive but drains you…
And the version of leadership that looks impressive and supports you.
My work exists to close the gap between these sides — the one between capability and confidence, skills and self, knowing and doing.
Leadership isn’t meant to drain you. It’s meant to lift you. So you can lift others.
And when you lead from that place… everything changes. ✨
PS: Turns out I didn’t abandon the dream — I just changed the role. Still in LA. Still in fashion. Now through coaching women in the same industry that shaped who I am today. Funny how dreams unfold… but still stay the same. 🩷
Hi Lovely! So happy you’re here.
Fun things about me: I’m grew up in Iowa, and live in Los Angeles with my husband, tabby cat, and weimaraner/pit bull mix. I love grooving it out to Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, and 90’s-2000’s pop + rap, and indie pop. I love a good podcast. I’m obsessed with Trader Joe’s. Football season is my favorite (GO Iowa State + Rams)! Almost Famous is my favorite movie. Seinfeld is my favorite show, but I mostly watch reality TV. Razorblade Tears is my favorite book. Greece has been my favorite vacation. (We went to Crete + Santorini - so magical!)
I absolutely love connecting with other humans and can’t wait to connect with you, too! I tell work stories, give life updates, and talk more about my leadership approach on my podcast! Check it out here.
Answering The Real Questions:
Yes, I’m ICF-certified. I completed a 6 month program with real training, real exams, and real evaluated coaching calls before I could graduate.
Yes, I’ve been burned by coaching too… and that’s why I coach the way I do.
I once spent five figures (yes, really) on a coach who somehow made not only my business, but my mindset worse. It was confusing, disempowering, and left me questioning myself more than when I started. I’m telling you this because I know hesitation around coaching is real. And because I’ve also worked with coaches who changed my life for the better. That contrast shaped everything about my approach. It matters deeply to me that this work feels supportive, grounded, safe and focused on your growth, not my ego.As of January 2026 I’ve coached 41 one-on-one clients , many of whom choose to remain anonymous due to the nature of their roles and companies.
No, I don’t only coach women in fashion and beauty. I’ve worked with leaders in agriculture, government, floral, medical, education, and more.
Yes, I know what actually works. I’ve seen first hand what helps women step into leadership without burning out.
No, I don’t do boring theory, cookie-cutter frameworks or one-size-fits-all advice here. Your workplace, your team, your personality, and your goals matter. We build strategies that actually make sense for your real life, not something that sounds good on LinkedIn but falls apart on Monday morning.
Yes, I take this work seriously. No, I don’t take myself too seriously. I truly believe leadership should be fun!
