You Are Women’s History in the Making

Hey you!! Yes, you - the one juggling a million responsibilities, leading with your soul, and probably wondering if you’re making an impact. Let me tell you something that might just change how you see yourself today:

You are someone’s version of history in the making.

We tend to think of history as those monumental moments. The iconic leaders. The glass ceilings shattered. The movements that shift societies.

But history isn’t just written in textbooks, it’s written in the everyday acts of courage, kindness, and resilience. And guess what? You’re writing it right now.

Maybe you’re the first woman in your family to hold a leadership role.

Maybe you’re the one speaking up in rooms where others have stayed silent.

Maybe you’re creating space for others to thrive simply by showing up authentically.

That matters. The ripples you create today are shaping tomorrow.

And I know. It doesn’t always feel like you’re making history. The emails pile up. The meetings drain your energy. The doubts creep in. But let me remind you, history-makers aren’t fearless, they’re just brave enough to keep going.

Every time you choose to lead with integrity, advocate for yourself and others, or set boundaries that honor your well-being, you’re doing something remarkable.

The women we celebrate during Women’s History Month?

They weren’t superhuman. They were women like you, who chose to believe their voice, presence, and leadership mattered. They likely questioned themselves, too. But they kept going. And now, here you are- part of that legacy.

So today, I invite you to take a moment. Breathe. Acknowledge the space you occupy and the impact you’re making. Celebrate yourself not just for the big wins, but for every brave choice along the way.

Because whether you see it yet or not, someone is watching you — a colleague, a mentee, a friend — and thinking, Because of her, I can too.

You are someone’s version of history in the making. And I, for one, am so glad you’re here.

Keep leading, keep believing, and keep making your mark. We need you.

xo, Lindsey
